Angkor
It was the capital city of the Khmer empire between the 9th and the 15th century. Angkor is considered to be a "hydraulic city" because it had a complicated water management network The site is now composed of many ruins of more than 1,000 temples, from the smallest to the magnificent Angkor Wat, one of the world's largest religious monument.
